Meet T. Marie King, a multifaceted individual with a remarkable journey. With an Emmy nomination under her belt, T. Marie has established herself as a respected figure in her community. 

Currently serving as the Director of Youth Pathways and Experiences at Jones Valley Teaching Farm located in Birmingham, Alabama. T. Marie is committed to empowering the younger generation. She believes in the transformative power of education and strives to create opportunities that shape the lives of young minds positively.

T. Marie is renowned for her expertise in fostering equitable spaces and facilitating difficult conversations. Her unique ability to challenge audiences through thought-provoking lectures encourages individuals to engage in introspection and embark on the journey of self-improvement, ultimately contributing to active communal change. 

Her commitment to truth, healing, transformation is evident in her training as a facilitator through the esteemed W. K. Kellogg Foundation. T. Marie's compassionate and empathetic nature is further honed through her training as an Empathetic Facilitator through Create Forward. 

In December 2022, T. Marie achieved yet another milestone with the co-production and release of her first full-length documentary. The documentary highlights the life and legacy of the unsung hero and civil rights icon, the Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth. Premiering on Alabama Public Television the documentary stands as a testament to her dedication to sharing stories of historical significance. 

T. Marie's educational background is equally impressive. Holding a B.A. in Urban and Global Economic Development, she possesses a keen understanding of the interconnectedness of communities and economies. Additionally, her M.A. in Leadership and Divinity exemplifies her commitment to person growth, leadership, and spiritual exploration.
